Managing your waves

Everything you've built is on the Positions page, grouped by pool, newest first.

The wave card

  • Value — what the positions are worth now, in dollars where the pool has a USDC side, with the token amounts beneath.
  • Fees — earned and not yet collected. Gross, and what you'd receive after Wave's share. Both from a live simulation against the chain.
  • In range — how many bins the current price is inside. Only those earn.
  • Bin chart — one bar per bin, as tall as its liquidity, blue where it holds USDC and amber where it holds the token, with a dashed line at the current price. The bar the price sits in is split at the line.
  • PnL — what the wave is worth today (principal, plus fees pending and already paid out) against what went in at the price when you built. Underneath: how much of that is price movement and how much is fees. On a self-custody wave the one-time fee counts as part of what went in.
  • Share — makes a card of the wave's PnL with the bins drawn, ready to post. If you have a referral code, the card carries your link and a QR code to it.
  • One row per position below, collapsed on custodied waves since the actions are wave-level.

Custodied by Wave means the Wave contract holds the position NFTs for you. That's what makes one-click collect and close possible.

In your wallet means the positions are yours outright: a self-custody wave, or one you took out of Wave. The buttons are the same, but every action goes straight from your wallet to Uniswap's position manager, with no protocol fee on the way. Each position also has its own collect and close.

Collect all fees

  • One transaction sweeps fees from every bin.
  • Your share goes to your wallet. On a custodied wave Wave keeps 5% of the fees only; on a wave in your wallet, all of it is yours.
  • Principal stays put. Positions keep earning.
  • No rush. Fees accumulate safely until you collect.

Wave's team can also trigger a collect on any wave, so earned fees are never left sitting forever. Your share always goes to you.

Close wave

One transaction that:

  • Collects fees.
  • Removes liquidity from every bin.
  • Burns the position NFTs.
  • Sends principal plus your share of fees to your wallet.

Then the wave is finished.

  • No slippage minimum on close, since you're removing liquidity, not trading.
  • On a token that takes a cut on transfers, expect that cut on the way out.

Closed waves

  • Closed waves stay listed under Closed waves at the bottom, with a realised PnL: what came out plus the fees you were paid, against what went in.
  • They can be shared too. The card is drawn from how the wave was built, since its positions no longer exist.

Referrals
