Chains
Wave runs on more than one chain. The network tabs in the header move you between them; everything is on wavelp.tech.
Where Wave is live
| Arc | Robinhood Chain | |
|---|---|---|
| Gas | USDC | ETH |
| Dollar | USDC | USDG |
| Pools | Uniswap v3 and v4 | Uniswap v3 and v4 |
| Address | wavelp.tech | wavelp.tech/robinhood |
Note
Robinhood Chain is open for exploring: every pool, its chart and the swap card work today. Building waves and the Positions page there are coming soon; until then, waves build on Arc.
What is the same everywhere
- Building, collecting and closing waves, with the same shapes, the same custody choice and the same fees: a share of collected fees on waves held by Wave, a one-time mint fee on self-custody waves.
- Referrals. Every chain has its own registry, but codes are generated from your address the same way, so the code you have on one chain is almost always the code you get on the other.
- Positions, PnL and the share card.
What differs
- The dollar. Dollar figures on Arc are USDC; on Robinhood Chain they are USDG. A pool with no dollar side is valued through the other token's own dollar price on either chain.
- Pools quoted in the gas coin. Robinhood Chain's v4 pools often hold ETH directly. Wave builds in them: the ETH side goes in with the build transaction, and fees and principal in ETH come back to your wallet the same way. Nothing to wrap or approve.
- WAVE, staking and the holder rate. The WAVE token and its staking vault live on Arc. Revenue earned on every chain funds the vault, but staking happens on Arc, and the lower mint fee for WAVE holders applies there. On other chains every self-custody wave pays the standard rate.
- Each chain is its own ledger. A wave built on one chain shows up on that chain's Positions page. Switching chains switches which positions you see.
Note
On Robinhood Chain, gas is ETH. Bridge a little in through the Arbitrum bridge before your first build; a full build costs well under a cent.
