Wave
Docs Introduction

Getting started

Wave places a wave: a ladder of Uniswap positions across a price range, minted in one transaction and managed as one thing.

What you need

  • A wallet that can add a custom network. On mobile, open Wave inside your wallet's browser.
  • Arc mainnet in the wallet. Wave offers to add or switch to it when you connect.
  • USDC on Arc. It's the gas token and what most waves are denominated in.
  • The token you want to sell, if you're placing an ask wave. The pool page has a swap card if you don't hold it.

Gas is cheap:

  • A full build: a few cents.
  • Collecting fees: a fraction of a cent.

Connecting

  • Click Connect wallet, top right.
  • More than one wallet installed? You'll get a picker.
  • Nothing happens? Wave couldn't find a wallet. Open the site inside your wallet app.

The pages

  • Waves — the leaderboard. Click a row to build in that pool.
  • Positions — your waves, what they're worth, what they've earned, and the collect / close buttons.
  • Stake — coming soon.

Your first wave

  1. Pick a pool with real trading and real liquidity. The board hides tiny pools and leaves out drained ones.
  2. Choose a strategy. Bid buys below the price with USDC. Ask sells above the price. Two-sided earns fees around the price.
  3. Set a range and a shape. Presets run from 5% to 50% from the current price.
  4. Enter an amount. The preview on the right is the contract's own calculation.
  5. Build. Approve once for the exact amount, then sign. Your wave appears under Positions.
Note

Wave's fee is 5% of the trading fees your wave earns, taken when you collect them. No fee on deposits, withdrawals or principal.
